A quick guide to using the addon manager in FS2 Utilities. Page Four
and how to create jr2 files for distribution.
Ok this is where we ended up.

Yep, you guessed it, back at the main jr2 manager. :)
Step Nine: The ven file I selected in the previous screen has now been added to the file manager, and so now we press the add button again, and go on to our next folder to find the files we want. We need to do this for all the folders that make up our addon, and in the next screen I shall show you something that you should try to avoid, if you can. Right onto the next screen.

Step Ten: In the above screen you can see that I have now navigated to the next folder from where I need to add some files, in the screenshot you can see that I am now in the venue folder of the venue I am creating, and have highlighted all the files that are in there in the lefthand window, and I am just about to push the ok button to add them to the jr2 manager. Whoa ! hold up. I said I would show you something here to try and avoid, and that is it. If you look at the highlighted files in the left hand window, you can see that I only should be adding the Peg1.peg file, as all the others are files that have been generated by my Fishsim installation, when I have been testing the venue prior to release. You will notice that there are some rec files and some validation files in there as well as temps and vdata dat files, you should not include these with your addon, as all they will do is put your records for that venue etc.. onto someone elses machine, and most people get upset by this :))) and all the dat files in the venue folder will be generated by Fishsim when the venue is first run any way. But if it is too late and you have already pressed the ok button like I have, then in the next couple of screenshots, I will show you how to remedy it. Onto the next screenshot.....

Step Eleven: Here we are after pressing the ok button and adding the files we did not mean to add, as you can see I have highlighted most of the files that I want to get rid of, you can do this in single or multi file groups as I am doing here, now all you need to do is press the remove button, and in the screenshot on the following page you will see what happens.
